About us

Ubimax was founded in 2011 and today is the global market leader for Enterprise Wearable Computing and Augmented Reality Solutions.

We help frontline workers to focus on what they are really good at: physical real world tasks, not complex and time consuming computer prompts.

As a one-stop-shop, Ubimax provides everything out of one hand – augmented reality software, wearable computing devices, configuration and deployment services as well as support. With offices in Germany, the U.S. and Mexico, Ubimax serves more than 150 enterprises around the globe. The company has built up a very strong partner ecosystem.

The company was founded 2011 (under the name xCon Partners), but the roots date back to 2004. That year, Dr. Hendrik Witt, now CEO of Ubimax, co-headed the EU funded project wearIT@work, a 40 million Euro project around Wearables and Augmented Reality for the enterprise space. In 2014, Ubimax launched xPick, the world’s first order picking solution running on smart glasses. Today, xPick is the leading vision picking solution in the world, used by organizations such as DHL, Samsung, or Daimler.

In 2016, exactly five years after the company was founded, Ubimax acquired a Series A Venture Capital funding in order grow the global footprint faster than before. By today, Ubimax is the clear market leader in its space as proven by assessments from leading research institutes and many prestigious awards including the AWE Auggie Award 2017 for “Best Enterprise Solution” as well as the MHI Innovation Award for “Best IT Innovation”.
